WWE COO Triple H shocked fans when he fired both R-Truth and The Miz on Monday Night Raw.

Stunning developments on Monday Night Raw

Just hours after Sunday's Night of Champions event, WWE COO Triple H shocked fans when he fired both R-Truth and The Miz on Monday Night Raw. Still recovering from his victory over CM Punk, WWE's Chief Operating Officer might have retained his role as COO, however, The Game was nonetheless furious about how it all went down. Perhaps feeling badly about how events unfolded the night before, Triple H informed his now respected rival, CM Punk, that he was being included in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match against newly crowned WWE champion John Cena and Alberto Del Rio. The Voice of the Voiceless appeared pleased to hear he would receive a title opportunity in two weeks time, however, he began to expand on who he thought was behind the incidents of the previous few weeks.

Hypothesis

Before Punk could reveal the full extent of his hypothesis, the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis emerged. The Second City Saviour then explained that he felt Laurinaitis was the mastermind behind the recent chaos. And when The Game asked Laurinaitis if Punk was close to the truth, Laurinaitis appeared evasive. When the Talent Relations Executive attempted to fire the anti-establishment fan favourite, Triple H immediately reversed the decision, but did insist that someone would be fired before the night was out. In the main event, John Cena and CM Punk joined forces against The Miz and R-Truth. The contest was arranged by Triple H as punishment for the duo attacking a referee as well as The Game himself at Night of Champions. The two conspiracy theorists certainly put up a spirited effort against their rivals, but when The Second City Saviour delivered a GTS to The Cleveland Screamer in his hometown, it was game set and match. After the bell, The Game emerged to relieve one WWE Superstar of their duties. However, in a shocking move, The Game fired both Miz and R-Truth, who looked mystified by the decision. As both Superstars absorbed the news, they grew enraged and attacked Triple H from behind in the locker room area. As they lashed out on the COO, a number of Superstars broke up the fight and ejected Miz and Truth from the arena.
