WWE Raw report: World Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar presented with his belt

Paul Heyman claimed John Cena's philosophy is finished

Brock Lesnar was presented with a brand-new WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt by The Authority – before his accomplice Paul Heyman declared the end to John Cena’s Cenation.

The night after SummerSlam, where Lesnar beat Cena for the title, an official coronation for the new champion was held on Raw. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made the presentation of the newly designed strap.

Regarding Lesnar’s vanquished opponent Cena, Heyman demanded “nothing less than the death of Hustle, Loyalty, Respect, the Cenation itself”.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon unveiled a brand new WWE Championship belt on WWE Raw this week, as well as the new Champion, Brock Lesnar.

Betrayal

Seth Rollins brutalised his former Shield partner Dean Ambrose in a Falls Count Anywhere match that was voted for by the WWE Universe.

Rollins delivered a Curb Stomp atop the announce table to prompt victory. Kane, who had interfered on Rollins’ behalf, later revealed a hidden pile of cinder blocks within the table that Ambrose was dropped on.

Nikki Bella, 24 hours after her shocking betrayal of her sister, claimed that Brie had always been selfish. In front of Stephanie McMahon, who caused the sisterly tension, Nikki slapped Brie.

The WWE’s biggest tag-team (literally) Big Show and Mark Henry defeated Erick Rowan & Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family. It was a successful night for Henry, who went on to defend the star-spangled banner from Rusev and Lana’s taunts.

Bizarre

Randy Orton suffered a second loss in 24 hours after teaming with RybAxel and being defeated by Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Rob Van Dam.

The Miz defeated Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler via count-out so didn’t win the title, while Cesaro overcame Jack Swagger.

The bizarre duo of Goldust and Stardust earned an upset win over The Usos, and AJ Lee’s interference allowed Natalya to best Paige in a non-title bout.
