Robertson and Wallwork confident of success
Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork have been seeded 10th in the mixed doubles for the Yonex BWF World Championships in London.
Robertson, who won the title in partnership with Gail Emms in 2006, and Wallwork are the only home players seeded for August's event at Wembley Arena.
The seeding reflects the pair's current world ranking but they remain hopeful of climbing further before the Olympics.
Robertson said: "It's a shame we're not in the top eight but we have beaten four top-10 pairs already this year.
"If we can pick up a favourable draw and reach the quarter-finals we can cause problems for the remaining pairs if we play our 'A' game.
"We need to avoid the top Chinese and possibly the two Danish pairs for as long as possible."
England's top men's singles player Rajiv Ouseph has missed out on a seeding having slipped to 27th in the world rankings.
He will be joined in the competition by English No.2 Carl Baxter and teenage prospect Toby Penty.
