Mike Tyson makes a special guest appearance on Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP v Team Koscheck.

Iron Mike shares his knowledge

Legendary boxing heavyweight champion 'Iron' Mike Tyson makes a special guest appearance on this week's episode of the Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP v Team Koscheck. Tyson, a long-time UFC fan and friend of UFC President Dana White, speaks with team coaches Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck and gives both teams a pep talk, urging the contestants to train hard and seize the chance of a lifetime by winning the tournament and contract with the UFC. "I was just enjoying the atmosphere," Tyson said in an interview with The Associated Press. "It was pretty exciting. They get together and work on things together, and it's great to see how hard they train. This sport is amazing. (Dana is) about entertainment for real, like boxing used to be. Even the walk-in is entertainment. Everything is off the hook." Considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxing champions of all time, two-time champ Tyson was also Octagonside for the thrilling war involving British hopeful Aaron Wilkinson. Liverpool's Wilkinson - whose opponent will be revealed on the same episode - said it was an honour to fight in front of the pugilistic icon. "I actually didn't know Tyson was watching me until after the fight, I was concentrating too much on winning the fight," said Wilkinson. "It was only when he came up to me after I was walking out of the Octagon that I thought 'Wow! That's Mike Tyson!' He said he loved the fight and was on the edge of his seat cheering. I couldn't believe that he was there or that Mike Tyson had been going nuts for one of my fights. "Anyone who knows anything or anything about fighting sports knows Mike Tyson. Any fighter you speak to, in the UFC or in boxing, is a Tyson fan. He just brought that excitement to each of his fights; he was and is a legend. "I actually got to see Mike fight live in Manchester back in 2000, when he fought in the MEN Arena and knocked out Julius Francis. If you'd have told me then that a decade later he'd be watching me fight I'd have tried to have sold you a used car."
