Sky One straps on its shin pads and pulls up its socks for a television first, teaming up with the Premier League for eight days of sporting action. Footballing legends, celebrities and fans come together to field teams representing all the 20 Barclays Premier League clubs in a week-long knock-out tournament, live from a state-of-the-art indoor stadium in London. Viewers at home will be right at the heart of the action with every match being screened live in high definition, presented by Arsenal hero Ian Wright and Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain. Each team is comprised of past heroes including Ruud Gullit, David Platt, Rodney Marsh, Gary McAllister and Jamie Redknapp, returning once again to wear their clubs' strip alongside celebrities playing for the team they support and, in the opportunity of a lifetime, fans who normally watch from the stands. The teams are playing for the All Stars Trophy and cash donations to charities of their club's choice, with the greatest sum going to the champion club's chosen charity. Will the usual suspects be battling for the title, or will there be some surprises? The event runs in conjunction with the Premier League's new initiative, Creating Chances, which showcases the League and its clubs' contributions to local communities and charities.
