Marco Antonio Barrera will hang up his gloves after Saturday's fight with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.
The former super bantamweight, featherweight and super featherweight champion is best known for his three-fight series against fellow Mexican Erik Morales.
He is also the man who ended Prince Naseem Hamed's undefeated record, and ultimately the Briton's career, in 2001.

But the 33-year-old is thoroughly prepared for his final fight and wants to go out on a high in the super featherweight contest.
"It's been a long time since I dedicated myself for a fight like this," Barrera said.
"But it's definitely my last fight. I've been in the sport for so many years and it's time to pass the torch."
Barrera made his professional debut in 1989 and has a record of 63 wins and just five losses.
The last of those defeats came in March, when he lost his WBC super featherweight title to compatriot Juan Manuel Marquez.
