Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin completed a double at the World Cup in Las Vegas on Saturday when she won the Grand Prix Freestyle on board Valegro.
Dujardin, who won the world dressage title in Lyon last year, followed up her win in Thursday’s Grand Prix by scoring 94.196 per cent as 13-year-old Valegro danced across the arena to music from “How To Train A Dragon”.
They are now the only duo in the history of the sport to hold Olympic, world, European and World Cup titles simultaneously, as well as all three world records.
"I had a really good ride and it's an incredible feeling," said Dujardin, the Sunday Times & Sky Sports Sportswoman of the Year for 2014.
"Having a horse like Valegro is just amazing. He goes into that arena to perform - all I have to do is steer.
"I wasn't sure how he would cope with all those people, but I think he loved the American crowd."
Former world champion Edward Gal of the Netherlands took second place aboard Glock's Undercover N.O.P. by scoring 84.696 per cent, with Germany's Jessica von Bredow-Werndl third on Unee BB with 80.464 per cent.
