Kryie Irving scored a career-high 57 points to lead Cleveland Cavaliers to a 128-125 win over San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

The Australian-born player’s 55 against Portland in January previously stood as the biggest haul in any NBA match this season but Irving extended his own record thanks to 11 overtime points against the Spurs.

Irving notched nine in the final minute of the fourth quarter, including a three-pointer to tie the match at 110-110 before breaking the Cavaliers' four-match winless run in overtime.

LeBron James added 31 points, five rebounds and seven assists for Cleveland.

Washington Wizards won 107-86 against a Memphis Grizzlies team weakened by rested players.

Their fourth consecutive away game meant Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Tony Allen and Mike Conley were handed a breather.

Memphis’ replacements got off to a quick start but Washington opened up a 27-point lead by the second quarter from which the Grizzlies never recovered.

Rudy Gobert scored 19 points as Utah Jazz beat Houston Rockets 109-91.

He also grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds, registering a double-double in the first quarter.

Indiana Pacers needed overtime to beat Milwaukee Bucks 109-91 – Rodney Stuckey scored 25 and Luis Scola added 17.
