Non Stanford and Vicky Holland booked their places for the 2016 Olympics after finishing second and third in the triathlon World Grand Final.
Stanford and Holland finished behind American Gwen Jorgensen and have now fulfilled qualification criteria for next summer, although they are yet to be officially selected for Rio.
Jorgensen extended her winning streak to 12 events, finishing the 1,500m swim in Lake Michigan, 40km bike ride and 10km run in one hour, 55 minutes, 36 seconds.
Stanford was second in 1:56:05, followed by team-mate Holland a further 15 seconds behind.
Jodie Stimpson, who finished sixth, and two-time world champion Helen Jenkins, who was 11th, must battle for the one remaining British women's qualification place next year.
Jorgensen's took the season title with 5,200 points, well ahead of New Zealand's Andrea Hewitt on 4,081 points - Hewitt finished the final event in fourth place.
Another American triathlete, Sarah True, was third in the season standings after finishing seventh on Friday.
Jorgensen also won the ITU World Olympic qualification event in Rio de Janeiro last month to make the 2016 U.S. Olympic team.
She competed in the 2012 Olympics in London, but finished way back in 38th after having a flat tyre during the bike ride.
Jorgensen last lost in a triathlon in April of 2014.
