Laura Deas continued her excellent season with a bronze medal in the latest round of the Skeleton World Cup season in Lake Placid.
The Briton won the opening round in Altenberg last November and retained third place in the overall standings with her result in the American winter sports resort.
The event was won by home slider Annie O'Shea, while Maria Gilardoni of Switzerland claimed silver.
Deas shared the lead after the opening run but was pipped by O'Shea, while Gilardoni had to break the track record to snatch second.
The result was enough to close the gap on season-long leader Jacqueline Loelling of Germany, who could only finish eighth.
There was also a career-best result for Britain's Donna Creighton, who rounded out the top 10 and finished 1.26 seconds off the winner.
