Holly Willoughby revealed the furore surrounding her choice of dresses was "the weirdest thing ever".
Soccer AM is, of course, one of the most stylish shows on television and fashion is never far away from our thoughts. But one particular item of clothing has dominated the thoughts of the crew since they found out ice queen Holly Willoughby was coming on the show - that dress. Dancing On Ice presenter Holly hit the headlines earlier this year when she wore a particularly revealing outfit on live television, sparking complaints from viewers and outrage in some of the newspapers. But Holly told Andy and Helen she was stunned by the furore that surrounded the outfit because she'd worn it before and thought it was actually quite "elegant". "It's the weirdest thing ever," she said. "I haven't suddenly decided this year that I'm going to wear a completely new wardrobe and I'm going to go for it. I've worn these dresses for the last three years - the same shapes and everything! "It's a very elegant dress. I didn't think it would cause a problem for a second. "I'd worn that dress for all the press shots, so it's been on the front of magazines for the month before and nobody had said anything. "ITV actually told me they loved the dress and asked me to wear it on the show." Gorgeous Holly took a rather more conservative approach to her outfit for her Soccer AM appearance, donning an Arsenal football shirt for the second half of the show. And she insisted there have been plenty of occasions when she has tried on a frock and decided not to wear it because it was too risqué. She added: "We have a huge range of different dresses coming through and sometimes you just say no. I do have some sort of filter system in my life, I'm not like Jodie Marsh!" She also said she had already chosen her outfit for the final of Dancing On Ice - and denied claims by her co-host Philip Schofield that it would be her most revealing dress ever! "That was a joke!" she said. "In The Sun they'd made a cartoon where I was walking out of my dressing room with two big holes cut out of my butt cheeks and my bum was pushed through this dress. I won't be wearing a dress like that for the final, it was just a joke! "My husband got that cartoon framed for me. He told me he had a present to cheer me up, I opened it and I was like 'thanks!'"
