Australia's withdrawal forces the WSF's hand
The World Squash Federation (WSF) has postponed its forthcoming championship in India because of security concerns.
Chennai was set to stage the World Doubles Championship from December 15-20, but terrorist attacks in Mumbai at the end of November have caused the event to be delayed until 2009.
Australian officials prompted the decision with news that they would not be sending players to India and the WSF has now followed suit.
The announcement comes as England cricket chiefs consider the future of their tour of the region.
