Milan stars love Stifler!

Seann William Scott told Soccer AM about the time he got to hang out with the AC Milan squad!

Over the years Soccer AM has invited some of the biggest stars from the land of promise onto the show. Evander Holyfield and Seth Rogen are just two of the names that have graced the orange sofas in recent times, and it has become customary for them to pick an English football team to support, live on the show. However, when Seann William Scott popped into the studio there was no need to keep up this tradition, after he revealed that, not only does he love the beautiful game, he has partied with the AC Milan squad! The Hollywood superstar, who is best known for his roles as Steve Stifler in the American Pie films, revealed that although he had a soft spot for Liverpool, one of the greatest nights of his life came when he found himself in the Italian capital. "I was in Milan and I got to hang out with the AC Milan soccer team," he said. "I felt so bad because I thought these guys don't want some stupid American at their party. "But then they were all around me in a circle going 'Stifler, Stifler, Stifler' and pouring drinks down my mouth and I was like 'yessss! This is so cool'. I thought I was going to be the loser there! "I remember the first game I ever saw was between AC Milan and Liverpool," he added. "It was an exhibition game in New York and I remember thinking 'this is better than any sport in America!' "I think Liverpool are probably my favourite team, but I just love all soccer because I think they are the coolest athletes."

Pursuit

Scott, who is in the UK to promote his new movie, Role Models, will be back in May to take part in the 2009 Drambuie pursuit. The competition sees teams of four compete in a series of gruelling outdoor trials including archery, white-water rafting, dune-buggy racing, and many other breathtaking challenges across Scotland. However, Scott seemed less than convinced that he would be taking part when Helen asked what it was all about. "I don't even know!" he said. "It just seemed like an awesome time to go to Scotland. "No, there's a real history behind it and I'm doing it for charity. I hope I can get into shape in time so I can actually compete in it, because there's hiking and biking and trail running and if I had to do it right now there's no way I could do it! "I'm just thinking I can work out my arms by drinking a lot of pints of beer, but after that I think I'm in big trouble."
