Aldaniti, a horse with a history of leg problems, Bob Champion, a former cancer sufferer. It was a newspaper editor's dream that became reality in 1981, when the unlikely pair teamed up for an emotional victory in the Grand National when they held off the late challenge of Spartan Missile in one of the most famous finishes of them all.
