Tears are not often associated with footballers, but missing out on the biggest match in the game can have unexpected results. After Paul Gascoigne picked up a yellow card in England's semi-final clash against West Germany at Italia '90 it meant he would miss out of the final through suspension. Gascoigne did little to hide his emotions knowing his fate was set.
