Montel Vontavious Porter, aka MVP, has told Sky Sports News that he will be gunning for Mr Kennedy - should his rival make this month's Royal Rumble in Detroit. MVP slammed Mr Kennedy for his persistent injuries and lack of ring time and insisted he would be one of the first men he will look to sling over the ropes should he compete in Michigan. "Mr Kennedy's injured right now because he's a bit of a pansy," MVP told Sky Sports News. "He's always injured, he spends more time out of the ring nursing injuries than he does in the ring performing so I don't know if he'll actually be a participant in the Royal Rumble. "But I can tell you he'd be one of the first people I'd like to eliminate." The Florida native then went on to pay tribute to the UK's WWE fans, revealing that he is looking forward to performing for them in this year's 'Wrestlemania Revenge Tour'. "We have a Wrestlemania Revenge Tour coming up in April (in Great Britain) and all of the WWE superstars get excited about coming to the UK because the atmosphere is electric and the fans are so vocal and I think that has to do with the tradition of football," he continued. "It's a breathtaking environment."

Poor form

MVP also shrugged off his recent poor form, claiming that his run of losses was down to a lack of motivation rather than a lessening of his powers. "There are some times in life when you apply yourself and get things done and other times when.. well, I've just been disinterested lately, I don't really care," he said. "With my contract situation I've lost some incentives." However, he promised the Royal Rumble spectacular would bring the best out of him, concluding: "You have 75,000 fans from all around the world and millions more watching at home - there's nothing like it, it's breathtaking."
