England won the Netball Europe Championships with comprehensive victories over Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales at the EIS in Sheffield. England beat Northern Ireland 64-37, Wales 59-25 and Scotland 54-26. Scotland grabbed two victories before succumbing to England in the tournament's final and decisive match. Anna Mayes, co-coach of England said: "We are really pleased to finish off the weekend with the group continuing to move forward in light of our preparation towards the World Youth Championships. "We understood the importance of the World ranking points so it was great to be put under that pressure at this stage of our programme."
