Premier League legend Andrew Cole, actress Tamsin Greig and Simple Minds front man Jim Kerr!
It's the penultimate show of the
Soccer AM season and we've got a line-up which will have you reaching for your alarm clock right now!
First up on the sofa will be one of the all-time top scorers in the Premier League.
Andrew Cole scored 187 top flight goals, second only to Alan Shearer, in a career which spanned almost 20 years.
After brief spells with Arsenal and Fulham, Cole joined Bristol City in 1992 where his average of almost a goal every other game caught the eye of scouts up and down the country.
Newcastle eventually took the plunge and landed the striker for what was a club record transfer fee of £1.75million. It would prove to be money well spent as Cole's 12 goals in as many games spearheaded their return to the top flight.
In his first season in the Premier League he scored 34 goals in 40 games for the Magpies, and was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year.
In January 1995 Cole was sold - much to the dismay of the Geordie public - to Manchester United for what was a British record transfer fee of £7million.
It proved to be a good move for both Cole and United as he went on to win
five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a Champions League title in an incredible six years at Old Trafford.
The arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy at United meant Cole's first team chances at the club became increasingly limited and in December 2001 he moved to Blackburn Rovers.
Within two months of his arrival he picked up a League Cup medal after scoring the winning goal in the final against Tottenham Hotspur.
After three years at Ewood Park, Cole returned to London to join Fulham. Spells at Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest followed and in October 2008 he brought down the curtain on a brilliant career which he will no doubt be reflecting on.
Hilarious
Our second guest this week is the hilarious Tamsin Greig!
As well as looking spookily like our very own brown coat man James, Greig is an Olivier Award-winning British actress.
Best know for her roles in the sitcom Black Books and the comedy drama series Green Wing, Greig has also forged a successful career treading the boards in acclaimed productions of Much Ado About Nothing and King John.
Her CV also includes roles in films such as British zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead, and the sci-fi comedy, Captain Eager and the Mark of Voth.
The London based actress has just finished filming Cuckoo, her latest silver screen effort, and we'll be finding out what it is all about.
Legend
Completing this week's line-up will be rock 'n' roll legend Jim Kerr!
The Simple Minds front man will be popping into the studio to talk about the band's new single, Rockets, and the release of their new album, which is out on Monday.
Incredibly, Grafitti Soul will be the band's 15th album since they formed in 1978. In that time they have sold over £35million albums and last year they went on tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Kerr is also a massive Celtic fan, so much so that in the late '90's he was linked with buying the club! We'll be finding out how close he actually came to owning the Hoops and of course we'll be getting his views on one of the tightest SPL title races in years.
