Surfing is becoming increasingly popular in the UK so we sent our very own Millie Clode to find out what all the fuss was about.
The British Surfing Association estimate that the number of people taking up the sport in the UK has risen from 300,000 to over 500,000 in the last two years.
The 67 per cent increase is further evidence that surfing, which is proving to be popular with people of all ages and various backgrounds, is enjoying a boom on our shores.

The National Surfing Centre is based at Fistral Beach in Newquay.
The British Surfing Assocation recommends you should be able to swim 50 metres and be physically fit if you want to get involved.
Buying your own surfboard new will cost between £250 and £500, depending on specification and also how long it is.
They recommend a wetsuit if you're planning on surfing in the cool British waters - which can cost from £50 pounds for a basic one to £200 for a highly-insulated winter suit.
Membership of the British Surfing Association costs 30 pounds - which includes £5 million liability insurance.
