NASCAR's Kyle Busch and Joey Logano pitted The Big Show against Triple H in a lumberjack match on Monday Night RAW.
Team RAW extract revenge on The Big Show
Hot off the heels of WWE Bragging Rights, NASCAR's Kyle Busch and Joey Logano took over the reins of WWE's flagship show, Monday Night RAW.
The co-hosts wasted no time in setting up two huge matches, pitting the man who double-crossed Team RAW at Bragging Rights The Big Show against Triple H meanwhile Jericho would be ordered to square off against fan favourite Kofi Kingston.
Ahead of the main event encounter, The Game announced that he had arranged for the match to be a lumberjack match featuring the superstars that Big Show decided to screw the night before at Bragging Rights.
Shawn Michaels then went onto announce that the match would be a no disqualification encounter with a special guest referee in the form of new WWE champion John Cena.
In the end, revenge was sweet as Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on the world's largest athlete. HBK followed that up with Sweet Chin Music to which The Game then executed a Pedigree which resulted in the significant pinfall.
Busch and Logano then dropped a bombshell as they announced that Cena would put his title on the line against Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a Triple Threat match next month at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
Blame
Earlier in the night, Kofi got off to a flyer in the opening bout as he executed Trouble in Paradise to record victory over the man who co-led Team Smackdown to victory this past Sunday, Chris Jericho.
Kofi was unable to celebrate his latest victory though as ex WWE champion Randy Orton attacked him. The Viper claimed that Kofi was to blame for his defeat to Cena in the Iron Man match at WWE Bragging Rights.
Later, Kofi extracted his revenge by inflicting serious damage on Orton's newly acquired customised NASCAR. The Viper could only look on and appeared livid at Kofi's latest actions.
Also this week on RAW, The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry and The Franchise Playa MVP recorded a huge victory as they outfought and outclassed Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase of Legacy.
Elsewhere, high-flyer Evan Bourne came out on top against current United States champion The Miz via count-out whilst The Celtic Warrior Sheamus made an impression in his debut match on RAW, defeating Jamie Noble in a one-sided affair.
Finally, Hornswoggle caused a distraction to help Melina and Santino Marella defeat the team of Jillian and Chavo Guererro.
Next week on RAW, find out what Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have in-store as they take charge of WWE's flagship show next Monday night LIVE from 2am on Sky Sports 3 and HD3.
