William Regal is set to face Christian for the ECW championship on home soil next week when the land of extreme emanates from Sheffield, England.
Regal had previously made known his desire for a future shot at the championship, and when Christian demanded a match with the Englishman on the latest edition of the show, Regal initially declined, but insisted a match for the title should be made between the two next week in England.
General Manager Tiffany agreed and the match was made, so British fans attending the show are in for a treat when the two bitter rivals lock horns in the ring.
Regal's associates Jackson and Kozlov are banned from ringside for the encounter, and with that in mind, it makes the main event encounter all the more intriguing.
Also on this week's instalment of ECW, another Englishman on the ECW roster Paul Burchill challenged The Hurricane also to a match.
Should Burchill be victorious, The Hurricane must unmask in the ring and reveal his true identity. However, if The Hurricane wins, Burchill and his sister, Katie Lea must leave ECW for good.
