Undertaker to face five on Sunday

Just 48 hours before WWE's Elimination Chamber event, Chris Jericho signalled his intent on becoming the World Heavyweight Champion by attacking Edge on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Before Jericho struck, a huge main event match took place between Edge and Batista, and in similar circumstances to that of this week's RAW, both men were unable to see their match through to the end. Royal Rumble winner Edge looked to have the match won, spearing Batista in the middle of the ring. At that point, the arena was plunged into darkness unexpectedly. When the lights returned, The Undertaker was stood in the middle of the ring. The Phenom then proceeded to execute a devastating choke slam on the Rated-R Superstar, extracting his revenge for the attack he suffered last week. An exhausted Batista managed to evade such punishment, making his escape from the ring, to leave an enraged Deadman standing over his floored rival. Then, as The Deadman made his exit from the arena, Edge regained his stance, only to then find himself on the receiving end of a devastating Codebreaker manoeuvre executed by Chris Jericho.

Barbaric

Jericho then signalled his intent on becoming World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday to an onlooking Undertaker, who must now prepare himself for what is set to be one of the most barbaric matches in the WWE.
