This week on SmackDown, Kane's quest for Vengeance rolled on, as the Big Red Machine chokeslammed The World's Largest Athlete. The Big Red Monster had recently vowed to execute "swift, decisive vengeance" on the person or persons responsible for the cowardly assault on his brother The Undertaker. And when all four participants of next Sunday's World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4-Way Match were in the ring, Kane took the opportunity to threaten all four Superstars in a desperate bid to avenge the situation. But The Big Red Machine came no closer to finding out the culprit, and chose to take out his anger on The Big Show, chokeslamming the 500lb giant as SmackDown went off the air. Just before Kane's interruption, Big Show faced CM Punk in singles competition for the first time ever in SmackDown's main event. An epic performance would be required should the head of the Straight Edge Society secure victory in this contest. Trouble ensued however as Show looked to remove Punk's Straight Edge mask during the match. Due to his actions, an outnumbered Show endured a brutal beat down by Straight Edge followers Luke Gallows, Serena and the yet to be revealed masked accomplice. In another debut encounter, World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger squared off against Rey Mysterio in a thrilling non-title encounter. The Ultimate Underdog notched a well deserved victory over the current World Champion after hitting not one but two consecutive 6-1-9's for the victory. There was no time for celebration however as an enraged Kane came to the ring and chokeslammed both "The All-American American" and The Biggest Little Man. Drew McIntyre addressed his issues with bitter rival Matt Hardy by informing General Manager Teddy Long that Hardy is now suspended from all WWE programming. Kofi Kingston then attacked the self-obsessed Scotsman. After which, McIntyre insisted Teddy Long will have to face the former Intercontinental Champion in a match next week. Should Teddy not compete, he will be fired from the company. Also this week on SmackDown, Christian defeated Dolph Ziggler courtesy of the sunset flip manoeuvre meanwhile in Divas action, Co-Woman's Champion Layla scored victory over Tiffany with the aid of a neckbreaker. Be sure not to miss RAW next Monday Night where we will almost certainly hear from WWE Champion John Cena, who was beaten to a pulp last week by all eight of WWE's NXT Rookies. Led by Englishman Wade Barrett, the eight Rookies smashed their way just about anything and anyone who got in their way. The disturbing scenes left fans around the world shocked and will no doubt be addressed this Monday Night LIVE on RAW. Just six days before WWE Fatal 4-Way, RAW comes your way next Monday Night LIVE and exclusively from 2am on Sky Sports HD3.
