Kelly Kelly's losing streak continued against self professed Co-Women's Champion Michelle McCool on WWE Superstars.
Chavo Guerrero impresses again in win over Chris Masters
Kelly Kelly might just be losing faith as her losing streak continued against self-professed Co-Women's Champion Michelle McCool on WWE Superstars.
The diva has been on the receiving end of a lengthy crusade of bullying by McCool and her "bestie" Layla and suffered without the help of her friend Tiffany on the show.
She showed an aggressive streak rarely seen by the WWE Universe in recent times early on in the bout but was unable to capitalise on a Spinning Hurricanrana with a pinfall.
Soon McCool countered a top rope manoeuvre by planting Kelly on the ground and swiftly followed up with the Faith Breaker to assert the dominance of team 'LayCool' as Co-Women's Champions.
Guerrero impressive
The other SmackDown participation saw Chavo Guerrero again impress on Superstars by defeating muscle bound Chris Masters.
The two have become regulars on the show in recent weeks but it is Guerrero who is showing more promise as both seek more involvement on SmackDown.
Masters was the stronger of the two in the early stages, with Chavo eager to escape the clutches of his more powerful opponent.
But as Masters teased the Masterlock, Guerrero countered with a Snap Suplex and when the 'Masterpiece' uncharacteristically took Chavo to the top rope for a Superplex, the 'Mexican Warrior' dropped him across the top rope and set up a Frog Splash for another important victory.
RAW's only involvement in the show was a tag-team match between The Usos and the always entertaining Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu.
Goldust dominated the two youngsters early on as the veteran showed off his impressive arsenal of moves with a drop-down Uppercut, Atomic Drop and Running Bulldog to Jey Uso.
He seemed to have the match won when he set up the Curtain Call but the Usos devious valet Tamina distracted him and allowed Jey to nail a leaping Savate Kick.
He tagged in his brother Jimmy for a Superfly Splash to give the new duo victory as they look to respond to their recent losses against the Unified Tag Team Champions the Hart Dynasty.
Superstars this week was only a small taste of what is in store this Sunday Night as SummerSlam comes LIVE to you from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on SKY BOX OFFICE from 1am.
