Paul Bearer's shocking appearance on SmackDown brought about a visible transformation in The Undertaker, who attacked his brother, World Heavyweight Champion Kane.
Fresh from his victory at last Sunday's Night of Champions, The Big Red Monster continued his winning ways by destroying Chris Masters to kick off SmackDown.
After accomplishing what few have done - breaking out of the Master Lock - Kane literally battered Masters, chokeslammed him then finally decimated him with a tombstone. After the victory, the champion proclaimed that he would soon destroy The Undertaker's legend and very soul.
Then, later in the night, after Kane demanded The Undertaker face him at next month's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, a group of druids hauled a casket to ringside. But when the champion raised the lid expecting to find The Deadman, he was stunned to see Paul Bearer!
As The Big Red Monster recoiled in fear, the "Father of Destruction" sat up displaying his infamous urn. Then, after a few seconds of tense darkness in the arena, the champion found himself standing in the ring between Paul Bearer and The Undertaker.
No longer feeling the effects of Kane's recent punishment, The Phenom was full of fury. As The Undertaker launched a vicious assault on his brother, Paul Bearer looked on, clutching his urn.
Terrified and confused as to what was unfolding, Kane ran up the entrance ramp. Finally, as Paul Bearer raised his urn high, it was clear that The Undertaker had transformed back into The Phenom who struck fear into countless souls.
Next week, just two nights before WWE's Hell in a Cell event, SmackDown comes to you LIVE and in high definition next Friday Night at 1am on Sky Sports HD3.
