Usos pick up pinfall on NXT; Swagger also victorious
The 'World's Strongest Man' had double the trouble to contend with on WWE Superstars this week, as Mark Henry was defeated in a 2-on-1 handicap match by the Usos.
Having overcome half of the duo, Jimmy, in singles action on the show last week, Henry could not resist the quick exchanges between the pair.
The Usos, however required intervention from their valet, Tamina, to eventually dispose of the 450 pound behemoth.
After he missed a huge standing splash, Henry rolled towards the ring apron and while lying prone, Tamina delivered a devastating super kick.
Henry then stirred, but groggily wandered into a jumping Savate Kick from Jey, before he tagged in his brother who hit a top rope Splash to pick up the three count.
The match of the night however was delivered by Jack Swagger and Kaval in a re-match from their SmackDown showdown last week.
Agony
Accompanied by his own personal mascot, The 'Swagger Soaring Eagle', the former world heavyweight champion dominated the early exchange with Kaval, who is still yet to taste victory in the WWE since winning the Second Season of NXT.
The back and forth soon took over, Kaval displaying some amazing athleticism which compared well with the mat-based actions of Swagger.
After failing to land Warriors Way, Kaval picked up a near fall with a seated Senton from the top rope.
But, when he edged towards the ring apron, the Soaring Eagle sneakily tripped Kaval, and Swagger pounced, locking in the Ankle Lock which had his opponent writhing in agony and with no alternative other than to tap out.
In a battle between recently deposed group members, Luke Gallows overcame Vance Archer, pinning him thanks to the Gallows Pole.
Both competitors seemed to have lost their way recently after the implosion of CM Punk's SES left Gallows fending for himself and Archer was turned on by his tag partner, Curt Hawkins.
Gael Kim also emerged victorious on the show, defeating Alicia Fox thanks to the Eat Defeat.
