A night after WWE crowned its King of the Ring, it also crowned the winner of the third season of WWE NXT, and Kaitlyn emerged victorious to take the coveted WWE contract. Kaitlyn, who has been mentored all the way through this all-diva season of NXT by Vickie Guerrero defeated Naomi in the final Poll to earn herself a spot on one of the WWE's brands, either RAW or SmackDown for the immediate future. Guerrero and her rookie have not seen eye to eye throughout the show, mainly due to jealousy towards Kaitlyn for her relationship with Guerrero's boyfriend, the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. Her Rookie though even found the heart to thank Guerrero in her victory speech and no doubt we will be seeing more of her on WWE programming soon. Kaitlyn defeated Naomi in the final match of the season with a roll-up to end with an unremarkable 2-6 win loss record compared to Naomi's 6-4. It is likely that the company will find places on the Diva's roster for both Naomi and also last week's evictee AJ after both impressed during the season, looking the most athletic and technically gifted wrestlers. Earlier on in the show, AJ got a win with her tag-team partners the Bella Twins by pinning Maxine after a Diving Crossbody. Maxine was partnered by Aksana and Alicia Fox. Also revealed was the list of competitors for Season 4 of NXT. Most WWE fans will be pleased to see the competition revert back to an all male roster for the next series beginning next week. Leading the way is newcomer Conor O'Brien, being mentored by Alberto Del Rio from the SmackDown brand. If O'Brien can master some of the cunning that Del Rio has displayed recently then he is in for a bright future. Also involved are the former FCW (WWE Developmental territory) Tag-Team Champions Johnny Curtis and Derrick Bateman. Their Pros are R-Truth and the reigning WWE United States Champion, and Season One veteran of NXT, Daniel Bryan respectively. Vickie Guerrero will once again return to the show alongside Dolph Ziggler who will mentor Jacob Novak. They are not the only partner pairing as Ted DiBiase and Maryse will tutor Brodus Clay, a 6'8" 360lb behemoth. Chris Masters also features on the show and his rookie is former ECW brand commentator Byron Saxton. Don't miss SmackDown this Friday as Kane continues his hunt for Edge, who has take his father Paul Bearer hostage. Catch it at 10pm on SKY SPORTS HD/4.
