AJ Lee instigated more chaos and the Shield struck again... Check out our Smackdown summary.
AJ's ally Langston clobbers Cena again on SuperSmackdown Live
It appears that John Cena has a Big problem.
The 12-time world champion was attacked by ferocious newcomer Big E. Langston at the culmination of Monday Night Raw and he felt the powerhouse's force again on Tuesday's SuperSmackdown Live.
Cena was teaming with Sheamus in a tag bout against Dolph Ziggler - the man he lost to at Sunday's TLC pay-per-view as a result of AJ Lee's interference - and World Heavyweight Champion Big Show.
But just as The Chain Gang Soldier was about to give Ziggler an Attitude Adjustment, Langston, who had been watching proceedings from ringside, clattered Cena, following swift instruction from string-puller AJ.
AJ had earlier appeared with Ziggler and Langston on MizTV to explain that she betrayed Cena at TLC in his match for the Money in the Bank briefcase because he had toyed with her emotions.
However, when Miz made one too many jokes at the former Raw general manager's expense, he experienced Langston's wrath, ending his show sprawled on the canvas after a vicious assault.
Announced
Langston was not the only one wreaking havoc on Smackdown, as rogue trio the Shield, victorious in their debut contest at TLC, took out THREE of their fellow Superstars.
Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns injured Rey Mysterio, his tag-team partner Sin Cara and - after he had flattened contract-seeking Brad Maddox in singles action - Brodus Clay.
Elsewhere, Ryback announced that he will battle CM Punk for the WWE Title on the January 7 edition of Monday Night Raw - before beating United States titlist Antonio Cesaro in a one-on-one bout.
Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston conquered The Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett in a six-man tag contest after Kane choke-slammed Darren Young, while Santino Marella pinned Tensai, the man he presented a Slammy award with on Monday evening.
