White eager for renewal of Britain v Australia rivalry

UFC President Dana White is confident there will be a sequel to the 2012 series The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes. The second international instalment of the UFC show saw Ross Pearson take charge of Team UK, where he overcame Team Australia coach George Sotiropoulos in December's series finale. Speaking after UFC London 2013, White indicated that a second series was high on his priority list, but he refused to comment on whether Jimi Manuwa or Australian James Te Huna would be approached to become coaches on the show. Te Huna and Manuwa were both victorious against respective light heavyweight opponents Ryan Jimmo and Cyrille Diabate at Wembley Arena, with London-born Manuwa unbeaten in his 13-0 career so far. White believes that whoever the coaches may be, a second battle between Britain and Australia is simply a matter of time. "I'd like to do it," White said. "I'm with it 100 per cent, I've been talking with people recently who say it was the best series of The Ultimate Fighter we've ever had. "We really underestimated the rivalry between the UK and Australia and we will be looking to do it again. "We had a meeting last week over a new television deal, and we're hoping to come back over here again really soon. It's coming."
