Winning his semifinal with ease in the 200m Jamaica's Usain Bolt is moving closer to claiming the first Olympic sprint double in 24 years. Finishing in 20.09seconds Bolt pulled away effortlessly from 2004 Olympic champion Shawn Crawford in the home straight. Crawford dinished in 20.12s Wallace Spearmon, who won 200m bronze at the worlds in Osaka last year and silver in Helsinki in 2005, also qualified as did Churandy Martina of the Dutch Antilles, Walter Dix, the bronze medallist in the 100 behind Bolt, Brian Dzingai of Zimbabwe and Christian Malcolm of Britain. GB's other hopeful Marlon Devonish did not make it through to the final of the men's 200m.
