Tokyo: Battling with Istanbul to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games
The International Olympic Committee will announce the winning city later tonight, at around 2130 BST in Buenos Aires.
Both Madrid and Istanbul were tied after the first round - meaning Tokyo topped that round - and it had to be put, dramatically, to a second decisive vote to see who went out.
The host of the Games will be contested between Tokyo and Istanbul in a second round of voting.
The IOC's President Jacques Rogge, presiding over his final session before retiring on Tuesday, will reveal the lucky winner.
