Who will win the Royal Rumble? Kelly Kelly and Maria talk us through the contenders.

WWE Divas look ahead to the 2010 Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble 2010 hits Sky Box Office this weekend - but who will emerge triumphant on one of the biggest nights of the year? Thirty of the WWE's top Superstars will enter the ring in the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Sunday evening, but at the end of the Royal Rumble match there will be only one man standing - and that man will be given a Championship shot at WrestleMania XXVI. But who will be the one? skysports.com caught up with two of the WWE's top Divas - Kelly Kelly and Maria - when they were in the UK recently and they were happy to give us their predictions on the forthcoming PPV. And Kelly Kelly explained why this event is so important in the WWE calendar. "The Royal Rumble is probably our biggest Pay-Per-View next to WrestleMania," she said. "It's the big one because whoever wins that 30-man Battle Royal gets a chance to compete for a WWE Championship at WrestleMania. "That's a big thing." This year's event is sure to provide many memorable moments - surprises are almost guaranteed when it comes to the Royal Rumble - and we've seen plenty of unforgettable clashes in the past. The 22-year history of the Royal Rumble has seen legends such as Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock stand victorious - but this unique event always provides thrills and spills from start to finish. Everybody has their favourite Royal Rumble memory and the Divas were spoilt for choice when we asked them to recall their highlights from the recent past. "Cena came out one year when he'd been gone and there was this insane energy," remembers Maria of the 2008 Rumble. "The whole crowd went crazy. That right there is one of my favourite moments. "Or how about when Santino came in and he got completely thrown out in two seconds? "He was screaming: 'I WASN'T READY!' It was the quickest ever elimination, record breaking." Kelly Kelly opted for a moment from the 2009 Royal Rumble, which reinforced the event's tradition of bringing back former favourites. "Last year when Rob van Dam came out," she said. "I love him, he was with me in ECW and I had no idea he was going to come out. I wasn't even at the PPV and it was so exciting when he came out." But who will come out on top in 2010? Will a former champion such as John Cena, Triple H or Shawn Michaels be victorious again or will a rising star such as Kofi Kingston or The Miz claim the prize? The Divas gave us a rundown of some of the main contenders for this year's Rumble and who they think is in with a chance of winning on Sunday night...

JOHN CENA
Kelly Kelly:
He always does so well. I hope he wins because he's great at what he does and I think he deserves it. He does so much for charity too, a lot of outside stuff and he's very dedicated. BATISTA
Maria:
He's a big fella and he's just so intimidating to his opponents so he's always a big threat to watch in something like the Royal Rumble CM PUNK
Maria:
I think that he's a little too preachy. No-one wants to hear that, don't start preaching... just get on with it. I think he's likely to swindle a way to doing well in the Royal Rumble. TRIPLE H
Maria:
I always find him very classy.
Kelly Kelly: Yeah, very classy. He's been there, he's done a zillion Royal Rumbles and has a chance again. SHAWN MICHAELS
Maria:
He's just got that passion. He's got that fire inside of him.
Kelly Kelly: He's won it so many times, I think he may be hoping to get the record for Royal Rumble wins. CHRIS JERICHO
Kelly Kelly:
I think he has a good chance. He's had a good year, so we'll see what he can do. BIG SHOW
Maria:
He's one of my favourite WWE Superstars so I hope he does well. KOFI KINGSTON
Kelly Kelly:
He's done really well for himself lately so I think he's got a really good chance in the Royal Rumble. SANTINO MARELLA
Maria:
I hope he comes and breaks his own record. Maybe he could get kicked out in one second this time, not two! DOLPH ZIGGLER
Maria:
Well you need to be confident to win a Royal Rumble and Dolph has certainly got the right ego for it! OUTSIDE TIPS
Kelly Kelly:
A lot of the younger guys like MVP and The Miz are all up-and-coming and doing really well so personally I think they've got a good chance.
Maria: And John Morrison. Maybe it could be the year for one of the younger guys because they work their butts off. So you've heard what the Divas think. What about you?
