Luca Brecel has failed in his latest bid to reach the televised stages of the World Championship at the Crucible.

Luca Brecel: Failed to reach the Crucible this year
The Belgian became the youngest-ever debutant at last year's tournament but the 18-year-old suffered a surprise defeat in the first round of the qualifying event, held at Sheffield's English Institute of Sport venue.
He trailed 5-4 overnight against Scottish amateur Fraser Patrick who completed a 10-6 victory, putting him three wins away from the Crucible stages of the tournament.
The World Championship begins on April 20, with the likes of Steve Davis, Jimmy White, Ken Doherty and Peter Ebdon all competing in qualifying over the next seven days.
