Grand Prix snooker will be played in Glasgow this year after the tournament was moved from Aberdeen to Scotland's biggest city.
One of the sport's biggest ranking events has been staged at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre for the past two years after it was moved north of the border from Preston.
The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow will now host the tournament, which arrived on the snooker circuit in 1984.
Defending Grand Prix champion Marco Fu will defend his title in Scotland with the usual big names such as Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, John Higgins and Glasgow native Stephen Maguire.
New home
"We would like to thank all the staff at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre for their co-operation and assistance during the last two years," said a World Snooker statement.
"Snooker has a rich history with the AECC and the Royal London Watches Grand Prix has been well supported during this time.
"Glasgow is the commercial capital of Scotland as well as having many cultural sites and first class sports facilities, so we are delighted to be staging one of our biggest tournaments there.
"The Royal London Watches Grand Prix is an outstanding event which brings the best players in the world together and will provide great entertainment for the fans."
John Sharkey, CEO at The SECC, said: "We are very much looking forward to hosting the Royal London Watches Grand Prix in October.
"It is a fantastic opportunity - not just for our venue but for Glasgow and further enhances our growing reputation for hosting world class sport."
The tournament will be staged from October 11 to 19.
