WWE Raw: Brock Lesnar hits Dean Ambrose with F5 - eventually

AJ Styles clashes with The Miz; Ziggler beats Owens

Brock Lesnar laid out Dean Ambrose on WWE Raw - eventually.

Ambrose got in Lesnar's face at the start of Monday's show, insisting he did not fear the beating he would receive from The Beast and Roman Reigns in the trio's No 1 contender's bout for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Fastlane.

Lesnar allowed The Lunatic Fringe to walk away unscathed at that point - much to the shock of world champion Triple H - but struck him with an F5 during Raw's closing moments after Ambrose and Reigns had defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Big E and Kofi Kingston in a non-title match.

AJ Styles, meanwhile, reacted angrily at not being allowed to get a word in edgeways on MizTv by attacking the programme's host, The Miz, leading to a match between the two being made for Thursday's edition of Smackdown.

Brie Bella thrust herself into Divas Title contention by knocking off current champion Charlotte, while two other women with eyes on that prize, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, formed a surprise alliance when Naomi and Tamina interfered in their singles encounter.

Big Show secured victory over Erick Rowan with a chokeslam but was then subjected to a post-match pummelling by the bearded grappler and his Wyatt Family colleagues, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman.

Plus, Dolph Ziggler cracked Kevin Owens with a Zig Zag to win the pair's high-octane scrap, while Titus O'Neil beat Tyler Breeze with Clash of the Titus.
