Chris Jericho's tag-team partnership with AJ Styles continued to grow on WWE Smackdown as the pair banded with Mark Henry to defeat The New Day.

Jericho and Styles began an intense rivalry earlier this year which was settled at WWE Fastlane on Sunday night when the WWE new boy forced Jericho to tap out to the Calf Crusher.

The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla and The Phenomenal One joined forces on Monday's Raw to overcome Heath Slater and Curtis Axel and were victorious again on Thursday night when Styles made Xavier Woods submit after Jericho was blasted with Trouble in Paradise by Kofi Kingston.
