The Undertaker told the blue brand's five-man squad - Shane McMahon, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt - that they would have him to deal with if they lost to Raw.

Taker also implied that he would sticking around for a while, stating that his annual WrestleMania matches would no longer define him and that he was back "taking souls and digging holes".

The legend's appearance came at the end of a special episode of The Cutting Edge, on which Edge was joined by Smackdown's entire Survivor Series team, plus official mascot James Ellsworth.

The WWE Hall of Famer, back to help Smackdown celebrate its landmark 900th episode, almost shared his trademark five-second pose with fan favourite Ellsworth before Styles intervened.

However, Edge also got serious, questioning why his former Rated RKO partner Randy Orton - a man with whom he won the World Tag Team Titles in 2006 - had sided with Wyatt.

Styles and Ambrose - who will face off for the former's WWE World Title in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match on December 4 - also bickered, before The Undertaker made his presence felt.
