WWE: Potential trade targets
Monday 10 April 2017 05:55, UK
The WWE's transfer window is open.
WWE chairman Vince McMahon has demanded a "superstar shake-up" and this week will see major players traded between RAW and Smackdown.
The two programmes' general managers, Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan, have been in discussions over the past few days about who they want to steal from the other's roster.
We take a look at who could be on the trade block and who could do with a change of scenery.
Sasha Banks (RAW)
The woman known as "The Boss" has achieved it all on RAW. Her rivalry with Charlotte Flair, including the first ever women's 'Hell in a Cell' match, is viewed as one of the greatest female feuds in WWE history.
She was one of the cornerstones of the "Women's Revolution" and has held the Women's Championship on three occasions.
But her time fighting Charlotte Flair is over, she's already battled Nia Jax and, unless she wants to go up against her friend Bayley, a chance to fight fresh blood on Smackdown may be just the chance Banks is after.
AJ Styles (Smackdown)
AJ Styles has been in the WWE less than 15 months but has made a huge impact.
His feud with John Cena was one of the best in recent memory, culminating in a match of the year candidate at the Royal Rumble in January.
He also held the WWE Championship - so what else does "The Phenomenal One" have left to achieve on Smackdown?
Big E (RAW)
The New Day hold the record for the longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history.
But since then, their in-ring prowess has fallen. Despite hosting Wrestlemania 33, the trio now appear to stand behind Sheamus & Cesaro, Enzo & Cass, The Revival and Anderson & Gallows in the hunt to replace The Hardy Boyz as champions.
Is it time to split The New Day up? Big E is an athletic powerhouse and could do some serious damage on Smackdown.
Alexa Bliss (Smackdown)
Alexa Bliss is suffering from a similar problem to AJ Styles - she's had a stellar spell since joining Smackdown but now she's out of the title picture, should she move on?
Bliss lost her Smackdown Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 33 and her subsequent rematch for the title against Naomi last Tuesday, tapping out on both occasions.
As well as Naomi, she's battled Becky Lynch and Mickie James in recent months - how would she fare against Bayley and Charlotte Flair on RAW?
Dean Ambrose (Smackdown)
Trading away the Intercontinental Champion would be a bold move by Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan but "The Lunatic Fringe" is going stale.
He doesn't appear to be in line for a shot at the WWE Championship and his ongoing problem with Baron Corbin may have come to an end following last Tuesday's 'street fight' between the pair.
Bryan may demand a title for a title if Ambrose was sent to RAW but with U.S. Champion Kevin Owens already confirmed for a showdown against Chris Jericho at WWE Payback, the Cruiserweight Championship may be the only belt up for grabs.
This is simply speculation, of course, but's it's a transfer window - now where's Jim White? There could be a lot of deals on the horizon, starting tonight on RAW.
