Kane is swapping WWE for the world of politics.
The veteran superstar has officially filed papers to run for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
Running under his birth name of Glenn Jacobs, he'll stand as a Republican in the part of the state he and his family have settled.
"This is a great place to work, live and raise a family. I want to do my part to make sure it remains a great place and that our future is as bright as ever," Jacobs told his first campaign rally.
Kane hasn't been seen in WWE for some time but a return at this year's Survivor Series had been rumoured to mark the 20th anniversary of his debut.
With his in-ring brother The Undertaker also seemingly taking time away, it appears it may be a while before we see 'The Brothers of Destruction" together again.
