With Extreme Rules around the corner and Money in the Bank to follow, now's the time to make an impression in WWE. Find out who managed that this week.

GOOD WEEK

Roman Reigns (RAW)

Roman Reigns managed to defeat Seth Rollins in the main event of Monday Night Raw to take all of the momentum heading into the fatal five-way match at Extreme Rules, live on Sky Sports Box Office at 1am on Monday.

Rollins and Reigns have a storied history and managed to put on an incredible main event match that even had fans cheering when Roman secured the pin.

Finn Balor is still a heavy favourite to become Brock Lesnar's next challenger on Sunday night but it seems the WWE Universe is finally warming to Reigns, who will get his day with Brock in the not too distant future.

The New Day (Smackdown)

The popular trio finally made their debut on Smackdown and pointed out that they will be challenging The Usos for the Tag Team Championships at Money in the Bank on June 18.

The longest reigning champions in WWE history have been away for a while as Kofi Kingston struggled with an injury, and it seems WWE wanted to wait until all three men were cleared for action so that they could step up to be The Usos' next challengers.

No Way Jose (NXT)

Jose made his return to NXT this past week and helped Roderick Strong to finally get the better of Sanity.

Strong was joined by Kassius Ohno in the tag match before Jose made the save and evened the odds for his friends.

Sanity has been the thorn in Jose and Strong's side for a number of months and finally this week they were able to secure a victory.

It will be interesting to see how Sanity reacts to their first real loss on NXT, especially now that they are racking up a number of enemies.

BAD WEEK

Alexa Bliss (RAW)

Alexa was put in the worst segment of RAW as she attempted to show all of the bad points of Bayley's past.

The segment was deemed 'cringeworthy' by fans despite it creatively trying to hark back to the days of Mankind and The Rock.

Alexa defends her RAW Women's Championship at Extreme Rules in a 'Kendo stick-on-a-pole match' that could see Bayley finally get extreme and win back her Championship.

AJ Styles (Smackdown)

AJ Styles was pinned by Dolph Ziggler in his home state in Smackdown's main event, even though AJ has a place in the Money In The Bank match in less than a month, he doesn't look like he would be considered a favourite to win.

Ziggler, on the other hand, has had a roller coaster few months and he could finally be finding his place on the roster.

Smackdown is the 'house that AJ Styles built' and it would be hard for him to continue this storyline if he was pushed further down the card.

Danny Burch (NXT)

Burch was pinned this week by WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne after what was a fantastic match between the two men and another great advert for British Wrestling.

At one point, a few months ago Burch was the only UK talent on NXT and he was exceptionally highly rated.

After his inclusion in the UK Tournament, he hasn't been seen for a number of months and now he's reduced to a loss to Dunne, which leads to questions about where he goes from here.
