British WWE superstar Mark Andrews has suffered a neck injury while competing on the NXT Tour.
The 25-year old had to be stretchered out of the arena after suffering a nasty looking clothesline during an eight-man tag match during an event at the Download Festival at Donnington Park.
Andrews had to be taken to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment but appears to have escaped without any serious injury.
"A CT scan of Andrews came back negative, with just bruising evident," WWE confirmed in a statement.
"Mark would like to thank all his fans for their concern."
Andrews tweeted he was fine but no time for his return has been given just yet.
Andrews will be keen to get back in the ring as soon as possible after impressing during his relatively short time in WWE.
He made his debut at the inaugural UK Championship Tournament, getting to the semi-finals.
WWE has recently confirmed plans for a new weekly UK show, so Andrews will be keen to prove his fitness so he can attempt to take centre stage.
