Being a referee is a difficult job but trying to keep order in a WWE ring is an almost impossible task.

As you can see in the video above, on rare occasions the officials reach a point where they just snap.

They vary from Scott Armstrong getting physical with CM Punk in 2009, a 'referee's elbow' from Mike Choida and Randy Anderson getting in the face of Rick Flair on WCW Nitro in the 90s.

But one man dominates more than anyone else on the list: Earl Hebner.

Most famous for his part in the 'Montreal Screwjob' on Bret Hart at Survivior Series in 1997, Hebner also played key parts in a feud between the McMahon family and the Alliance, as well as having a personal feud with WCW official Nick Patrick.

That rivalry culminated in a match between the pair at 'WWF Invasion' in July 2001, which makes the list above.
