Jinder Mahal defends his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a 'Punjabi Prison' at WWE Battleground

Jinder Mahal defended his WWE Championship in one of the industry's rarest structures, the Punjabi Prison, at Battleground in Philadelphia.

He took on Randy Orton in a match that saw both men try to escape two rings of bamboo, which is still available on Sky Sky Sports Box Office.

The match hadn't been seen in WWE for a decade so it was interesting to see how Mahal and the veteran Orton coped with the structure at the Wells Fargo Center.

Battleground also saw the return of John Cena to pay-per-view action.

Levels of patriotism were high as he went head-to-head with Bulgarian Rusev in a flag match.

The Smackdown Tag Team Championships were also on the line as The Usos defended against The New Day.

The pair have built up quite the rivalry since New Day joined from RAW and this battle promised to be both athletic and physical.

Five women entered the ring but only won will get a title shot at SummerSlam as Tamina, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Lana and Natalya squared off in a five-way elimination match.

WWE Battleground will be repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) BUT NOT Sky Sports HD Box Office (492) between 10am on Monday, July 24 and 10pm on Thursday, July 27.

Repeat showings will take place every four hours, with the final showing STARTING at 10pm on Thursday, July 27.
