Brock Lesnar has admitted he's up for a potential UFC superfight against Jon Jones.

The WWE Universal Champion has told Associated Press he would take the match "anytime, anywhere", despite a meeting looking highly unlikely in the short term.

Lesnar is currently the biggest draw in WWE and is under contract until next year, while Jones makes his return to the octagon this weekend against Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.

We look back at some of the highs and lows involving Brock Lesnar in his biggest WWE matches over the past two years.

Lesnar, a close friend of Cormier, added in a short statement "right now he (Jones) should be more worried about D.C. on Saturday night."

Both men have hit the headlines for the wrong reasons in recent months, with Lesnar still banned after failing a drugs test in the build-up to his win at UFC 200 over Mark Hunt just over a year ago.

That result was changed to a no-contest and Lesnar was also fined $250,000.

Jones, who is coming back from a drug ban himself, was previously stripped of the UFC light heavyweight championship after his involvement in a hit-and-run in New Mexico.

His bout against Cormier this weekend is his shot at redemption after a difficult two years away that's seen Cormier dominate the division.

Should Jones win that he'll be the most talked about fighter in MMA and he's already admitted he's prepared to move up to heavyweight to take on new challenges.

A potential fight between Jones and Lesnar could make the pair millions as well as being one of the biggest bouts in 2018.
