UFC legend Ronda Rousey has prompted fresh speculation that she could be involved with WWE by appearing at an NXT event.
Rousey's presence at the show, which took place in Riverside, California, was confirmed by Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane and later captured on camera by a fan.
The 30-year-old has been out of the spotlight since being stopped by Amanda Nunes in the first round of their bantamweight world title fight at UFC 207 in December 2016.
A return to the octagon appears unlikely for Rousey but WWE executive vice president of talent and creative Triple H confirmed last month that he is keen to sign her.
Rousey appeared alongside The Rock at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, when she put Triple H's wife Stephanie McMahon into a submission hold and slammed 'the Cerebral Assassin' to the mat.
And she was also, alongside fellow MMA competitors Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Shayna Baszler, involved in a brief confrontation with Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch at the Mae Young Classic in September.
Both groups - the latter trio when joined by Sasha Banks - are known as the Four Horsewomen, and there has been speculation for some time that they could clash in WWE.
