WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair made a surprise appearance to celebrate with his daughter, Charlotte Flair, after she won the SmackDown women's title

It was an emotional night in North Carolina on Tuesday as Charlotte Flair won her first SmackDown women's title.

Flair added the blue belt to the four championships she won on Monday Night Raw to become a dual-brand champion by beating Natalya in her home town of Charlotte.

After the match, she dedicated the victory to her father, legendary Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who she said would be "at home, watching on television", and who recently spent five weeks in hospital after undergoing emergency surgery.
