WWE Raw superstar Jason Jordan has neck surgery

WWE Raw superstar Jason Jordan has successfully undergone surgery on a nerve in his neck.
It is not known how long the former tag team champion will be sidelined, after a procedure described as "a minimally invasive" posterior cervical microdiscectomy.
"He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures," WWE medical director Dr Joseph Maroon said. "It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal."
Jordan was at Raw this week but did not compete, instead costing former tag partner Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns their match against Sheamus and Cesaro when he attacked the latter.
Sheamus and Cesaro defeated Jordan and Reigns for the Raw tag team championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 28.
Jordan has been a key component of Raw storylines since it was announced on screen that he is the son of current Raw general manager and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
