Braun Strowman emerged victorious after a seven-man gauntlet contest which was the longest televised match in WWE history.

The Monster Among Men pinned The Miz after a running powerslam to claim victory in a match featuring all seven of the men who will compete in the Elimination Chamber main event on Sunday night.

The bout also featured an epic performance from Seth Rollins, who knocked out both Roman Reigns and John Cena in a 65-minute stay in the ring.

Elias then picked up a somewhat fortunate victory over an exhausted Rollins before himself being eliminated by Finn Balor.

Balor was then sent packing by a Miztourage-assisted Miz but Strowman - as is often the case on Raw - would have the final say, getting the three-count on the A-lister and some vital momentum for Sunday's Sky Sports Box Office event.

James to the rescue - for Bliss

The bizarre alliance between Mickie James and Alexa Bliss was further solidified after a six-woman match which pitted the women's Elimination Chamber opponents against each other.

James - teaming with Sasha Banks and Bayley - started the match in opposition to Bliss, who was lining up alongside the Absolution pair of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, but she cost her team when she submitted to a Banks Statement.

The incensed Absolution team embarked on a post-match rampage but Bliss was saved by James and the pair combined to give Deville a double DDT for good measure.

Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neill have not lost to The Bar since January 8 and notched another televised win over the champions this week when Crews rolled up Cesaro.

The Worldwide duo - ably assisted by Dana Brooke - have now challenged The Bar for their Raw titles at Elimination Chamber, although at this stage the challenge remains unanswered.
