The match line-ups for Raw's two main titles was confirmed at a brutal Elimination Chamber on Sunday night.

Roman Reigns won the men's elimination chamber match to book a Universal title clash against Brock Lesnar, and Alexa Bliss won in the women's chamber to retain her title and cement a WrestleMania match against Asuka.

Reigns pinned Braun Strowman for the final elimination after Strowman had eliminated every other competitor in a dominant and record-breaking performance.

The Monster Among Men was eventually put down by a pair of spears by Reigns and gained a sliver of revenge after the match by throwing the 'Big Dog' through one of the pods.

The Raw contract signing of Ronda Rousey ended in chaos when Kurt Angle let slip that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had planned to bring her in to avenge the WrestleMania 31 incident when Rousey put an armbar on McMahon.

Rousey responded by slamming Triple H through a table, which led to a slap from Stephanie, who left the ring before the ex-UFC champion could respond.

In the event’s opening match, Bliss picked up a hard-fought win in the inaugural women’s Elimination Chamber.

The contest saw Sasha Banks turn on her friend Bayley after the pair had initially teamed up to attack Bliss - and several other members of the field - and it proved costly.

Bliss hit a Twisted Bliss from on top of a pod and a top-rope DDT to take out The Boss and ensure she will go to WrestleMania as champion.

After the match, she delivered an excellent heel promo after it initially appeared she would praise the fans and encourage them to "follow their dreams".

Her opponent in New Orleans in April will be Asuka, who overcame the odds to secure a win over Nia Jax with a roll-up after taking some severe punishment.

But the brutality continued after the match, with Jax driving the Royal Rumble winner through the barricade to leave her grounded, much to the delight of the watching Bliss.

Sheamus and Cesaro retained their Raw tag team titles with an against-the-formbook win over the Titus Worldwide duo of Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neill.

The Bar hit their trademark springboard White Noise on Crews to complete a successful title defence.

In the match between "the light and the dark", it was the light which came out on top with Matt Hardy besting Bray Wyatt.

Hardy evaded the clutches of Sister Abigail before a boot to the gut left Wyatt open to a Twist of Fate which clinched it for the Woken One.
