Triple H says British star Pete Dunne is 'a future WWE champion'

Current WWE United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne has the potential to win a top title, according to Triple H.

Birmingham-born Dunne, 24, is widely regarded as one of the biggest prospects in the world and performed in WWE's match of the year for 2017, against fellow Brit Tyler Bate.

Both will appear at WWE's events at the Royal Albert Hall next week, teaming with Trent Seven as the excellent Moustache Mountain to take on Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong and Adam Cole on the Monday night.

"There is a lot of talent (in Britain) there but a guy that stands out to me the most is Pete Dunne," he told reporters.

"I think his ability to take a style from years ago in a classic UK style and blend that with a modern style and be comfortable in what he says and what he does, and his passion for this is what's impressive. He's like a sponge, he's constantly learning.
